Dancehall artiste J Sweet believes that he is on the verge of a major musical breakthrough with his latest release, Life So Sweet, featuring dancehall star Chronic Law.

"The response has been great so far. Everybody is saying that this song is a bona fide hit because of the lyrics and the delivery. It a shine a major spotlight on my career," said the artiste, whose given name is John Clarke.

Growing up in Kingston, he faced many struggles, but that never dimmed his light. He later migrated to the US, and even though he has tried his hand at many things, music was always his first love. He has worked with very notable figures such as dancehall legend Beenie Man, US rap group Outkast, and rap star Killer Mike.

With his suave, good looks and his polished R&B and dancehall stylings, J Sweet is seeking to make an imprint on the musical scene. To achieve that goal, J Sweet is planning on releasing his debut EP, a compilation of previous and brand-new releases.

"I am spending a lot of time in the studio, working on my craft and fine-tuning the songs to make that big impact," he said.
