Can't understand why my husband cheated

Dear Pastor,

I have been married for 10 years. I have three children, one before I got married and two with my husband.

After I got married, my husband got involved with another woman and she had a child for him.

While she was pregnant, I was pregnant, too. But I did not know that the child was for my husband.

One day I got a phone call and it was from a man who informed me that his girlfriend was pregnant and that it was my husband who got her pregnant. I slammed down the phone.

When my husband came home, I told him about the incident and he said that I was quite correct to hang up the phone.

CHILLING PHONE CALL

Then two weeks after, a girl called me and told me that she works with my husband and she started to inform me that she was pregnant for him.

I heard when my husband drove in, so I told her to stay on the line. When he came in, I handed him the phone and I told him to talk to the woman.

He could only tell her that he was going to be at the office at a particular time and he would talk to her.

My husband told me that the child is not his. I told him to do a DNA test to prove it. I do not know what to do, because my husband is a caring man and I have tried to please him.

Anytime he wanted sex, I gave it to him. I take care of his meals and his clothes, and the house is always clean.

What more can a man really want from a woman? I have never cheated on him. Why should he cheat on me?

I don't intend to leave him. But I find myself wondering what to do. These days when I talk to him about the low life he is living, he is not saying anything.

When I want to go out, he tells me that I have a car, so I can go wherever I want to go. What should I do?

Dear E.F,

I suggest that you make an appointment with a family counsellor for counselling sessions. Your husband is not pleased about something.

He is married but not totally happy. You don't want to leave him and I don't think you should. Don't give up on your marriage. Try to get him to go with you for counselling.
