Slippery Skeemaz all about the ‘currency’

February 22, 2019

Dancehall artiste Slippery Skeemaz is gearing up for the release of a brand-new track, 'Currency'.

Produced by OSJ (Our Street Jam) Records, the track is a collaboration with fellow artiste Chronic Law. It is slated to be dropped later this month.

Speaking on the track, the artiste stated that the lyrics describe a lavish and independent lifestyle.

"It basically speaks about living the life, making money, partying, that sort of lifestyle. It's all about the party vibes. I try to make my music something fun that my fans can relate to," he explained.

The artiste, who hails from Montego Bay, is a newcomer to the scene, having taken the leap in 2018 to officially launch his career.

Describing his sound as modern dancehall, he likes to focus on topics he can relate to, such as money, girls and parties.

So far, he has taken the music scene by storm, releasing a torrent of singles, such as Top Braff, Gucci Cologne and Fyne Glue. His most recent release is an uptempo track called Money Mode, which was released in January.
