Nastic covers Lady Gaga single

Reggae singer Nastic recently recorded a cover version of Lady Gaga's hit single, Always Remember Us This Way, which was recorded in 2018 as the theme for the movie A Star Is Born.

" Always Remember Us This Way is a very beautiful love song and I feel honoured that I was able to do a cover version of it. It's one of those timeless love songs that people listen to repeatedly. I hope my version will have a similar impact on music lovers worldwide," said Nastic.

The song, which was produced by King Hamilton Productions, was released on January 23. Since then it has enjoyed strong rotation both locally and overseas.

"I'm very happy with the response that this song is receiving. It's getting tremendous support from DJs all over the world," said Nastic.

The hard-working entertainer, who lists Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Garnett Silk among his musical influences, is currently busy in the studios working on new projects.

"It gives me great pleasure to create music to uplift, inspire and entertain the people. So, I'm always working on new projects for my fans. Right now, I'm recording a lot new music. Some of these songs will be released as singles. My team and I are also contemplating the release of a full-length project," he said.

Nastic, whose given name is Jason Smith, hails from Yallahs, St Thomas, and is a past student of Yallahs High School.

He launched his recording career in 2016 with the release of the single Heights Green and Gold.
